DOES DENTAL IMPLANT SURGERY HURT?
Most patients report that the post-operative pain is minimal. Most implant patients take a mild pain pill such as Ibuprofen for 3-4 days. IV sedation is available so that the patient has little or no memory of the dental implant surgery.
WILL I HAVE TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK?
Most dental implant surgery allows the patient to return to work the next day, depending on the amount of physical activity associated with your job. Dr. Cooper will discuss thoroughly your recovery period in advance.
I HAVE HEARD THAT DENTAL IMPLANT CASES TAKE A LONG TIME. HOW LONG DO THEY TAKE?
Because a dental implant must adhere to the bone, and because bone heals a little slower than soft tissue, the average case from the time of the dental implant placement to the time the dental implant is restored is about three to four months. However, dental implants are designed to last a lifetime.
WILL I BE ABLE TO FEEL MY DENTAL IMPLANT AFTER IT HAS BEEN RESTORED?
The great majority of dental implant patients report that their new artificial tooth feels and looks like a natural tooth.
HOW MUCH DO DENTAL IMPLANTS COST?
Since The Dental Implant Institute is limited to dental implants only, our fees are some of the lowest. Being a market leader and working with many different implant systems gives us greater buying power, allowing us to pass the savings on to you. We encourage patients to come to The Dental Implant Institute and have a consultation with Dr.Cooper, so that all of their options can be thoroughly discussed and the finances arranged before any final decisions are made.
Costs for surgery vary based on your individual needs. Call Bobbie today for a complete explanation.
DO YOU HAVE PAYMENT PLANS FOR FINANCING THE COSTS OF DENTAL IMPLANT SURGERY?
The Dental Implant Institute offers Care Credit. Care Credit is a U.S. company providing a health care line of credit. The Dental Implant Institute offers 6 and 12 months interest free financing. Also, financing up to 5 years is available.
Dental implants are artificial roots and are intended to support the load that is placed on the teeth when the patient bites down. In most cases, a mini implant is simply not large enough to support the load. If the incorrect implant is selected and the implant fails, then whatever money was saved initially is more than used when the correct size implant is used to replace the failed implant. Since the consultation with Dr. Cooper is done without charge, please take advantage of hearing about the specifics of your case before making a decision based only on finances.
